We’re seeking a Business Developer with proven experience in digital marketing or creative agencies, capable of both strategic sales development and hands-on lead generation.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets (Egypt, KSA and UAE).
- Develop and execute lead generation campaigns through paid and organic channels, including running and optimizing social media ads (Meta, LinkedIn, Google) to acquire qualified leads.
- Manage and nurture leads through the Asana CRM funnel (New → Qualifying → Offering → Considering → Closing → Closed/Lost)
- Conduct qualification meetings with potential clients to assess fit, budget, and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Account Managers and Digital Marketing Strategists to prepare tailored proposals / strategies presentations.
- Use structured briefing frameworks (From Sales SOPs) to ensure client needs are well captured and communicated internally.
- Maintain an accurate record of all prospects, communications, and updates in Asana CRM and Google Drive project folders.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Team to align lead generation campaigns with running brand awareness efforts.
- Monitor competitors and market trends to identify emerging opportunities & services pricing updates.
- Collaborate with the Account Managers to ensure smooth handover post-closing.
- Track KPIs including qualified leads, proposals sent, meetings booked, and conversion rates.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development within a digital marketing, branding, or web agency.
- Proven ability to run ad campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or Google Ads) focused on B2B lead generation.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services (Branding, Website Design & Development, SEO, Content Marketing & Ads management).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiar with CRM and funnel-based sales processes.
Interview Assignment (During Online Interview)
- During the interview, the candidate will be asked to create and present a short sales presentation (5–7 slides) that sells Road9 Media’s digital marketing services to a fictional insurance company.
- The presentation should demonstrate:
- Understanding of the insurance industry’s marketing challenges.
- Ability to position Road9 Media’s services as strategic solutions.
- Structuring and presenting a clear, persuasive offer that aligns with agency standards.
- The candidate will have a 30 minutes to present their offer.
