Position Overview

The Social Media Designer at Road9 Media is responsible for creating high-quality ad creatives and engaging social media visuals. This role blends creative design with marketing performance, ensuring visually compelling content that enhances brand awareness, engagement, and conversion rates. The designer collaborates with content creators, media buyers, and strategists to develop optimized assets for paid ads and organic content.

This position will evolve to include expertise in motion graphics, AI-assisted content creation, and performance-driven design strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Creative Design for Ads & Social Media
    • Develop ad creatives for Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more.
    • Design organic social media graphics tailored to platform-specific best practices.
    • Ensure all visuals align with brand guidelines and marketing goals.
  2. Optimization & Performance-Driven Design
    • Work with media buyers to analyze ad performance and optimize designs.
    • Stay updated on creative trends and emerging ad formats.
  3. Motion Graphics & Multimedia Content
    • Create animated ads, reels, and motion graphics for social media.
    • Edit short-form video content to enhance engagement.
    • Learn motion design tools like After Effects and AI-assisted video editing.
  4. Collaboration with Marketing & Content Teams
    • Align visuals with copywriters, strategists, and campaign managers.
    • Adapt creatives for various ad formats (carousel, static, video, GIFs, etc.).
    • Stay ahead of digital trends and algorithm changes.
  5. Brand Identity & File Management
    • Maintain visual consistency across ad creatives and social media posts.
    • Develop reusable design templates for faster production.

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in digital design for ads and social media.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects (or similar).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing ad creatives and social media designs.
  • Understanding of digital ad formats, best practices, and social media design trends.
  • Basic knowledge of A/B testing and data-driven creative adjustments.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to explore new formats like interactive ads and immersive content.
