Own the planning, publishing, engagement, and performance reporting of client social media accounts. You will translate the approved strategy into a monthly content calendar, ensure content is scheduled correctly across platforms, manage daily community engagement, handle urgent/trend-based posting when needed, and deliver a monthly performance report with clear insights and next steps.
Key Responsibilities
Content planning & calendar management (monthly)
- Build the monthly Content Calendar based on the approved Content Strategy (core themes, seasonal themes, distribution plan).
- Research and select relevant awareness days/occasions that match brand identity and audience interests.
- Coordinate content requirements with internal team members (copywriter, designer, content distributor) and ensure the calendar is clear and execution-ready.
- Align blog titles with the SEO content plan (when applicable) and reference links inside the calendar for execution clarity.
Publishing & scheduling (monthly + as needed)
- Ensure all approved posts are scheduled correctly using native tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn scheduling, X, YouTube).
- Apply platform-specific adjustments (caption style, hashtag usage, link handling, formatting).
- Verify scheduling accuracy (copy, media, order, timing) before confirming completion to the Account Manager.
Daily community engagement
- Monitor all brand accounts daily for comments, mentions, direct messages, shares, and engagement opportunities.
- For specific brands, answering messages with standardized replies, divert qualified leads to leads database & communicate with client's sales team.
- Respond in a brand-aligned tone, encourage conversation, and escalate inquiries that require client input.
- Track notable engagement patterns and share weekly engagement insights for optimization.
Real-time / urgent posting
- Identify opportunities for trend-jacking or timely content and follow the required approval flow.
- Execute time-sensitive posts within the required window when approved (and notify the relevant stakeholders).
Influences & Key Opinion Leaders content coordination (when applicable)
- Research relevant influencers/KOLs based on audience fit and engagement quality.
- Support outreach coordination, briefing materials, scheduling integration, and content alignment with brand messaging.
- Coordinate approvals and documentation with the Account Manager and client team.
Crisis & reputation management (as needed)
- Monitor and flag negative sentiment spikes, misinformation, or escalating complaints.
- Classify severity (low/medium/high), respond appropriately, and escalate to the Account Manager/client team when an official response is required.
Reporting (monthly)
- Produce the Social Media & Content Performance Report on the defined monthly schedule.
- Compile platform performance metrics (reach, impressions, engagement rate, follower growth, CTR where applicable).
- Identify top/low-performing content, summarize insights, and propose a practical action plan for the next period.
- Submit the report for strategist review, then support finalization for client delivery via the Account Manager.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing brand social accounts (agency or in-house), including planning + scheduling + engagement + reporting.
- Strong understanding of platform differences (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube) and how content needs to change per platform.
- Experience in social media moderation - ability to write clear, brand-consistent engagement replies and handle sensitive interactions professionally.
- Strong organization: can run a monthly calendar workflow and keep execution on track.
- Comfortable working with structured systems, approvals, and documentation.
