We are looking for an experienced UI Developer responsible for converting UX/UI designs into pixel-perfect, high-performance front-end interfaces & integrate it in WordPress themes.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert Figma/Adobe XD UI layouts into responsive HTML, CSS, JavaScript with pixel-perfect precision.
- Implement advanced JavaScript animations and micro-interactions (GSAP, ScrollTrigger, Lottie, or similar libraries).
- Translate UX guidelines into functional interfaces with strict adherence to spacing, alignment, typography, component behavior, and responsive breakpoints.
- Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch, including templates, custom fields, dynamic content loops, and admin-friendly backend structures.
- Integrate UI components cleanly with WordPress backend (Custom Post Types, ACF, Gutenberg blocks when applicable).
- Handle content entry for all UI modules, ensuring perfect match to the approved designs.
- Optimize front-end performance for speed, Core Web Vitals, and responsiveness across devices.
- Collaborate daily with UX Designers, Backend Developers, and Project Managers to ensure proper implementation of the UI vision.
- Ensure smooth handovers, maintain structured code, and follow the agency’s UI/WDD processes and development standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years as UI Developer / Front-End Developer.
- Strong experience in WordPress theme development, not just page builders.
- Expert in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with animation libraries (GSAP, Framer Motion for web, Lottie, ScrollMagic, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of UX documentation, wireframes, and interaction logic.
- Familiarity with PHP basics and WordPress templating structure.
- Ability to build reusable UI components and responsive frameworks.
- Experience with performance optimization and debugging.
Nice to Have (but not required)
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Familiarity with REST API integrations.
- Experience with accessibility and SEO-friendly front-end structures.
